After spending too much time loafing by the lake we decided we should head towards Rome, we found a campsite on the coast about 90 kms above and thought it would be easy to get a train into the centre of rome from there, it wasn't. After much deliberation about how we would get to Rome we decided that we would just stay in Tarquinia as it was nice and our campsite was right on the beach. The Town of Tarquinia was a typical italian smallish town with lovely gelato and great food.
TARQUINIA = 7/10.
