Perugia is a busy university town. We had a great time here, it was vibrant, lively and still had original charm. The town was one of our favourites so far, especially at night.
Asissi was also a stunning town. For those who dont know it was home of St. Francis of Asissi. It had an absolutely amazing church where St. Francis is also burried. His tomb was extremely atmospheric. As soon as you walk in there is a definate vibe. Asissi also had a huge castle which was on top of a hill and had stunning panoramas of the surrounding countryside.
