Sorrento (the home of Limoncello) is a beautiful place, 40km south of Naples situated at the end of the peninusla. The sea was a gorgeous blue that was completely clear. This was helped by it being a rock beach rather than sand, great to jump off of on a hot day. The town was small but vibrant, during the day it was a great place to shop and at night the perfect place for eating, drinking and taking a walk along with the thousands of locals and tourists. In sorrento we found what we have decided to be the best pizza in the whole of Italy! Jhonnys pizza was delicious as were his other pizza dough creations known as sfizi. Very cheap at less than £3 a pizza. In short we loved Sorrento.
Also while in Sorrento we visted Vesuvius and Pompeii. Amazing sites. You will see from the pics.
